WHAT WE DO?

We mentor students to THINK like an INNOVATOR, identify world's problems and innovate patent-able STEM solutions to these problems. Our unique module 'Life-cycle of Innovation starts with research methodologies to identify problems and ends with creating a patent-able solution

WHY DISCOVERSTEM?

Introduction to STEM, Learning INNOVATION, Owning Patents, COLLEGE Preparations, SCHOLARSHIPS, Learning to THINK Out-Of-The-Box, Develop Critical and Analytical skills, Problem SOLVING, CREATIVITY and becoming YOUNG ACHIEVERS

WHAT'S OUR STORY?

Started as free STEM & Innovation class, 24 months, 36 NASA scholars, 70+ patents applicants and $1.5M in scholarships later, we're one of the most sought after STEM Innovation program for middle and high school kids

YOUNG INNOVATOR OF THE MONTH

Bilal A. Shah (11 years)

Innovation#1: Relay Launch System  (Patent in process)

Innovation#2: Lead Detection System (Patent in process)

Innovation#3: Micro turbine brick (Patent in process)

Bilal is DiscoverSTEM's 'Young Innovator of the Month' for his serial innovation spree. He joined our DiscoverSTEM Innovation Program (DIP) as a nine and half year old naive kid and went through our  DIP 2017-18 and repeating DIP 2018-19 batches.

In 2018, Bilal and his team innovated 'Relay Launch System', a low cost system to launch satellites using electromagnetic guns. He send this innovation to NASA AMES Space Settlement Challenge 2018. In this challenge, his innovation competed against 10,000 participants from 30 countries and won 1st prize worldwide.

Later in 2018, Bilal again innovated a system to detect lead in paint. This time, he took this innovation to 'America's Top Young Scientist' competition, also known as 'Young Scientist Challenge'. He emerged on the top in entire state and named as 'Texas Merit Winner'

Bilal and his team started 2019 by innovating 'Micro turbine brick', a building material which generates electricity from air, rain and even storm. He took this innovation to 'Future City Competition', where he displayed his innovation, design and engineering skills learned with us to design a future city. Not to mention, he and his team won second place in Texas State.

Bilal has been featured in many print and electronic media news and articles. He plans to join our Ivy League Mentorship program this summer and train with us to join an Ivy League University with scholarship. He currently goes to Murphy Middle School in Murphy, TX

UPCOMING SUMMER PROGRAMS

2019 Summer Innovation Program

We're now accepting application for enrollment in our 2019 DiscoverSTEM Summer Innovation Camp for both Junior (age 9-12 years) and Senior (age 13-18) groups. Duration of summer camp is 4 to 8 weeks (flexible).

DIP (DiscoverSTEM Innovation Program) This program is open for students aged 10-18 years. In this program we mentor student to identify real-world problems and innovate patentable STEM solutions. Duration of this program is 6 months.

Our programs are designed by some of the best innovators and scientists in the world. They are known globally for their inventions and their ability to excite young minds to identify world's problems and THINK LOGICALLY, ANALYZE CRITICALLY and CREATE SOLUTIONS and INNOVATIONS to these problems.

ILM (Ivy League Mentorship) is our long term program for students in 8th grade or under. In this program we mentor to make their profile strong for top universities and scholarship applications.
